The hugely successful house event is back for the third year running and will take place in Dublin’s RDS from 25th-27th May 2018. house 2018 is an unmissable celebration of interior design, a definitive showcase of world-class interiors with what’s best and what’s next in design.
Thousands of visitors attend this annual three-day event to learn of new season trends and design advice, to take part in creative conversations and engaging one to one consultations with professionals.
Household names and key industry influencers such as Dermot Bannon, Roisin Lafferty, Jo Hamilton and Suzie McAdam and Julianne Kelly are involved in promoting and offering hands on advice at the show.

Trend Talks Stage
More and more Irish homeowners are growing in self-confidence and happy to showcase their independent styles. Whether that’s embracing colour and pattern or introducing a whole new style to a chosen room, then the Trends Talk Stage is for you.
Our trend forecasters will be giving you insights into the interior trends to take you through 2018 and beyond. Speakers will include Suzie McAdam, Emily Maher of Lost Weekend, Sinead and Niamh of The Interiors Project and Claire Price and Elaine Regan of the House Edit who will be on hand throughout the weekend covering all elements of up to the minute designs and tips and tricks on how to achieve the look you want. Their insight is second to none.
If you’re looking for interiors inspo then look no further. More and more names are being added to the bill for what has become a focus for inspirational tips and tricks, smart design advice and savvy makeover tips. Leading names in the Irish and English interior design scene will headline this Stage and will include Jo Hamilton, Roisin Lafferty, Dermot Bannon and Suzie McAdam. A Q&A session will take place after each talk and visitors can meet the interior designers and discuss their projects.
Another new element to this years’ show is the Upcycling Area which will be hosted by Gerard Griffin of the Rediscovery Centre and Annie Sloan.
Gerard is the Programme Manager of Rediscover Furniture at the Rediscovery Centre. He is a qualified furniture restorer, cabinet maker and designer with over thirty years’ experience in antiques and at house 2018 he will be demonstrating how to make the most of old or unwanted furniture. Whilst Annie, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s most respected experts in paint and colour, will be showcasing her gorgeous paints and how they can transform wooden furniture.
